With regard to having your book translated into a language you are not familiar with, I suggest the following:
- Request that the translator works as a team with another translator - a lead and a proofreader. Babelcube's system supports this.
- Consider using translators that have a proven history and good reviews. Many of the translators have their prior Babelcube translations rated by other rights holders (authors and publishers). These reviews are on the translator's profile at Babelcube.
- Test samples of text by asking a friend who knows the language or using Google Translate (although, this isn't very accurate)
